Flying Foxes

The Flying Foxes are one of many spectacles in the Komodo National Park. After your sunny day full of experiences, like snorkeling or hiking, we will drop our anchor near the Kalong Island. Kalong is the local name for bat and that is where the island got the name from. When the sun goes and you calm down, the Flying Foxes fly through the red sky over the island. They start to fly in circles above the trees, where they lived over the day. Then they follow the islands and appear in the distance. Huge groups of these fantstic animals can be seen there. The combination of the unique sunsets in this beautiful ambience of the Komodo Islands and the Flying Foxes greeting you, will be a memorable moment.
